Fall Housing
Many students are anxious to arrange for Fall housing. Fortunately, there is an abundance of
rental housing available in Los Angeles. In fact, there may even be such a thing as starting too
early. Most of the listings posted at the Community Housing Office are available immediately. It
is not until the middle of July that a few listings begin to trickle in, most of them being posted in
August and September. As a general rule, we recommend that students begin searching 3-4
weeks ahead of time. Also, remember that it takes only 3-5 days to choose an apartment and be
accepted as a tenant. The more flexible you can be in terms of location, the quicker and easier
your search will be.
