NON-AFFILIATES of UCLA can still take advantage of many of the Community Housing Office services. Our on-line database includes Roommate Needed, Roommate Available, and Vacant/Shared Sublet Listings that are available to the general public. Also, if you come during office hours, we have several helpful publications as well as Housing Assistants to answer any questions you might have about finding a place to live.

Unlike many other cities, Los Angeles always has an abundance of rental housing options. During the summer, there are even more rentals available. It is wise to begin at least four weeks before you wish to move in. However, it usually takes only three to five days to find an apartment and be accepted as a tenant.
